What does Erynva do?
Erynva reads supported documents on your computer, extracts the fields selected in your filename preset and gives each file a clear, consistent name. You can review uncertain results before the files are renamed.
Which file types does Erynva support?
Erynva supports PDF, JPEG, PNG and multipage TIFF documents. Renaming preserves each file’s original format and extension.
Are my documents uploaded anywhere?
No. Document reading, OCR, local-model extraction, review, learning and renaming run on your computer. Optional account services receive limited account, device, billing and explicitly shared rule data—not your documents, filenames, paths, OCR text or extracted fields.
How do I add documents?
On Mac, drag documents into Erynva, choose them with the file picker or use the Finder Quick Action. Windows File Explorer integration is being prepared for the Microsoft Store release.
Can I control how filenames are structured?
Yes. Choose the fields, their order, separators, date style and person-name order, then save the format as a preset for reuse.
What happens when Erynva is unsure?
Uncertain documents keep their original names until you review them. Erynva shows the complete proposed batch before committing reviewed changes.
Will Erynva overwrite an existing file?
No. If a proposed filename already exists, Erynva adds a numbered suffix rather than replacing the existing file.
Can I use Erynva without an account?
Yes. The Free plan allows 20 documents per local calendar day on each device without an account. A multipage document counts as one document; processing the same document again counts again.
What do paid plans include?
Paid plans provide unlimited document processing and shared reusable rules. Individual covers one active device, Team up to five and Pro up to 50. See Pricing for current annual prices.
Can I undo a rename?
You can reverse the latest completed rename batch. Erynva also keeps a bounded local history of the latest 100 batches; filenames in that history remain on your device.
