Billing & Refund Policy
Effective and last updated 12 August 2026 · Version 2026-08-12
Annual billing, renewal, cancellation and Australian Consumer Law remedies for purchases from the registered business Erynva.
1. Seller and availability
Direct Erynva subscriptions are sold by Peter Stoney, a sole trader operating under the registered business name Erynva (ABN 42 423 397 171), based in Victoria, Australia. The current paid launch is available to customers located in Australia. Purchases made through an app store may instead be billed and refunded by that store under its purchase process, without limiting mandatory consumer rights.
2. Prices and payment
Plans are priced and charged annually in Australian dollars through Stripe. Erynva is not registered for GST. No GST is charged or included in the price. The advertised Australian-dollar price is the total amount payable. Checkout displays the plan, billing period and total before payment is authorised. Do not proceed and contact support if that total differs from the advertised amount.
Stripe processes card and payment details. Erynva receives billing status and references but does not receive or store your full card number.
3. Automatic annual renewal
A paid subscription renews automatically for another annual period unless cancelled before its renewal date. The Stripe customer portal shows renewal status, next billing date and available payment receipts or billing statements. These are not tax invoices and must not show a GST amount. You authorise Stripe to charge the saved payment method for each renewal until cancellation.
A price change will apply no earlier than the next renewal after reasonable advance notice. You may cancel without a fee before the new price is charged. If a payment fails, access may continue for any grace period shown by the service and may then return to the free allowance.
4. Cancelling renewal
You may cancel future renewal at any time without a cancellation fee through the Stripe portal opened from the Erynva account page and signed-in desktop app. If that route is unavailable, email support@erynva.com from your account address before renewal and ask us to record the cancellation. Keep the confirmation.
Unless a mandatory remedy applies, cancellation prevents the next charge and paid access continues until the current annual period ends. Cancelling renewal does not delete your Erynva account or local app data. Account deletion is a separate signed-in process.
5. Australian Consumer Law remedies
Erynva does not apply a “no refunds” rule where the Australian Consumer Law or another mandatory law provides a remedy. Consumer guarantees may apply to individuals and eligible business purchasers.
For a major failure, you may be entitled to cancel the service and receive a refund for the unused portion, or choose another remedy available under law. For a problem that is not major, Erynva is entitled to a reasonable opportunity to fix it; if it is not fixed within a reasonable time, further remedies may apply. You may also be entitled to compensation for reasonably foreseeable loss caused by a failure. The appropriate remedy depends on the facts.
6. Change of mind and duplicate charges
Australian law does not generally require a refund solely because you changed your mind, stopped using the service or forgot to cancel before a clearly disclosed renewal. We may nevertheless offer a discretionary refund where fair in the circumstances; doing so once does not create an obligation to do so again.
Contact us promptly about an accidental duplicate charge, an amount you do not recognise, or a charge made after a confirmed cancellation. Contacting us first is often the quickest way to investigate, but it does not limit any right to speak with your bank or payment provider.
7. Requesting help or a refund
Email support@erynva.com from the account address. Include the purchase date, plan, Stripe receipt or payment reference if available, the outcome you seek and a non-sensitive description of the problem. Never attach documents, filenames, OCR text or extracted fields.
We will assess the request under the purchase terms and applicable law and explain the outcome. Approved card refunds are returned through Stripe to the original payment method where possible; the bank or payment network controls the time needed for the credit to appear.
